AC•Tech Expands Network of Recommended and Approved Applicators

AC•Tech products and solutions are backed by a 15 year labor and material warranty. We can stand behind that warranty because 1) we have products that truly perform, 2) we provide technical support during all phases of a project’s execution, and 3) we work exclusively through a network of recommended applicators who have earned AC•Tech “approval” by completing our comprehensive training program.

AC•Tech announces the expansion of its network of Recommended and Approved Applicators in the US, Canada and Mexico.

“But, not too rapid !” remarked Dawn Parnoff, Executive Vice President of AC•Tech and 20-year veteran of the moisture mitigation and commercial sub-flooring industries.

Parnoff continued, “We formed this company two years ago because of our belief that a specialty coating is only as good as the technical support and warranty behind it. If you expand too rapidly at the expense of quality control and business ethics, you can’t foster the long-lasting relationships that successful businesses are built upon.”

The impetus for expanding AC•Tech’s network of recommended and approved applicators comes from the recent groundswell of interest in the company’s new Go-Early Technology™ that combines slab curing, slab protection, vapor reduction and alkalinity control in one easy application in Division 3.

“I first saw this product in North Carolina where it was being installed on a concrete floor poured just 72 hours earlier” said concrete industry expert Bill Lepito of Floor Covering Consultants (Amesbury MA). “AC•Tech told me this system would do quite a bit. After much scrutiny, I concluded that it certainly did!”

“With Go-Early Technology™, we can get right on the concrete with the vapor reduction and alkalinity control epoxy resin before the walls go up. That makes it much easier for us and much more cost-efficient for our customers” reports Mike Portwood, Baker Paint’s Flooring Division Project Manager (Tucker GA).

Mac Krauss, one of the first approved applicators in the US for moisture mitigation epoxies (in 1995!) is AC•Tech’s Training Master and Vice President of Marketing. He is a staunch advocate of a well-trained, highly ethical applicator network. “We may leave money on the table by not expanding our network at break-neck speed. But what is the point in possibly disappointing a customer who depends on you, your reputation, and your products? Each approved applicator brings his or her craftsmanship, experience, and reputation to a project. Without that ingredient, the whole process can deteriorate into a blame game where no one wins.”

“This is what I found so refreshing about AC•Tech and what drew me into their company”, says Tom Pope, National Sales Manager, and the newest addition to the AC•Tech team. “I’ve been in this industry for more years than I want to admit. And I am sure there are many of us out there that have learned that “truth in advertising”, “warranty”, “transparency about changes in product formulations” just don’t exist in our business the way they used to.  Before I retire, I want to be a part of something honest, something successful, something long-lasting.”
